Seventy years of showing up in the Four Corners
Plumbing, HVAC, electrical and restoration, run out of Durangosince 1954. Four divisions, four sets of licensed crews, one company answering the phone.
Last updated
A company that has worked one region for seventy years does not survive on marketing. It survives because the same families and the same property managers keep calling, and because the people who answer the phone know the difference between an inconvenience and an emergency.
The other three divisions exist for a practical reason. A failed supply line is a plumbing job for about an hour and then it becomes a drying job, and often an electrical one. Customers were having to line up three contractors and an insurance adjuster themselves. Now they call one number.
We are licensed, bonded and insured in both New Mexico and Colorado. Our electrical and gas work is permitted and inspected — which occasionally makes us slower than a handyman and is the entire point.
How we got here
A short history
1954
M&R opens in the Four Corners. Same family name on the trucks ever since.
1970s–90s
Becomes the company this region calls first, on work nobody else would drive out for.
2000s
Licensed crews across all four divisions, so one call covers the whole problem instead of three.
2010s
The Bodo Drive office opens, putting our own crews on the ground across La Plata County.
Today
Four divisions, one number — plumbing, HVAC, electrical and restoration, each with its own licensed crews and on-call rotation.
