A seventy-year-old company in a region this size only works if technicians stay. Ours largely do, which means most of our hiring is growth rather than replacement.

We take on apprentices with no experience and we take on licensed technicians who are tired of being a number somewhere larger. Both get a stocked truck, paid training and a dispatcher who does not book you eleven calls in an eight-hour day.

If you are licensed in plumbing, HVAC or electrical — or want to be — call either office and ask for hiring. We would rather have a five-minute conversation than read a résumé.

The criteria every M&R technician meets

  • Clean background check and a valid driver's license
  • Drug-free workplace
  • Willingness to keep training — the codes change
  • Able to explain a repair to a customer without jargon
  • Turns up on time, in uniform, and cleans up afterwards
  • Treats an occupied house as somebody’s home
